One of the Faeries I did redesigned for fun was the Neopets Faerie Queen, Fyora. I embellished her overall silhouette, and her staff. I also wanted to add a cheeky little smile to her, since most of her official art is very stoic and focused. I wanted to see what she’d be like while relaxing just a bit.
This was also my very first walkthrough/tutorial on a piece I did! You can find it on Ko-fi (for montly subscribers) here
“No, she won’t tell you where she got it, but trust me, it was well earned”
First personal sketchings of 2021
"I'm not sure where she learned it, but she's the best I know"
The design for Spirit Swap’s main character, Samar! The final painted art style ended up getting swapped out for something more efficient, but the character design stayed the same. The animation is done by Chris!
You can find the game’s website here, and their steam page here!
A new character! Couldn't stop thinking about my old To The King sketch, and was thinking about the story, and how that scene may have come to be. Anyways, here's a scrappy fire starter
Vivamus accumsan, est in maximus gravida, ipsum nulla rhoncus nunc, sed faucibus enim sapien in dui. In non fermentum nisi. Quisque placerat nisl sem, viverra bibendum nisi aliquam in. Donec ultricies, lectus vitae mattis convallis, nisl tortor placerat nulla, sed maximus lacus ipsum aliquam eros. Nulla fermentum ultricies leo nec tempor.
Aenean malesuada mattis volutpat. Nunc molestie neque nec rutrum aliquet. Suspendisse tristique ornare ipsum eget placerat. Sed dignissim finibus ligula, vel porta nisl posuere vitae. Sed in facilisis quam, et ultrices metus. Cras ac imperdiet diam, vel gravida mi. Mauris molestie metus eu lorem lacinia blandit. Integer ut venenatis velit.
More work on my personal project, which I've now titled "What we stole from Tir Na Nog" but since I can't say all that in Irish, it's just called "Tir Na Nog" for short. It's a story about growth, love, patience, and fear, and where we come to when we go through it alone.
Cras sed scelerisque purus. Nullam ligula felis, tincidunt interdum bibendum at, rutrum non elit. Quisque cursus pellentesque augue id consectetur. Mauris auctor, turpis vitae porttitor sagittis, orci purus vulputate neque, ut pretium dolor enim eu velit. Quisque hendrerit est vel felis aliquet, sed porttitor turpis congue.
"Best not keep him waiting"
An Illustration I think I need to sit on a bit more before I decide to do anything else with it. I started this in Lake Hurwitz's Intro to Illustration class for Workshop Academy. I learned SO much about starting and setting up and, (not pictured here LOL) finishing an illustration
Exploration of a personal character! Her name is Shula, and she's a buff vanguard who's here to steal kneecaps and become a legend
This was work done for the Environment Design class over at The Workshop Academy! We had to take one of our value pieces from the week before, and create both a day and night piece from the one value piece. Thank you to Josh Kao for all of his feedback on this!
